About Little Wings Play Therapy
Hi, I am Frankie. I am a Play Therapist working across Surrey and South West London, with a dedicated playroom in Chessington. I am a registered Play Therapist with the British Association of Play Therapy (BAPT). As a BAPT Play Therapist, I have completed an intensive full time two year masters degree at Roehampton University. This masters level training provides in depth theoretical knowledge, extensive supervised clinical practice, and a strong ethical framework, ensuring a high standard of safe, effective and child centred therapeutic work. My training equips me to support children and young people with a wide range of emotional, behavioural and developmental needs through evidence based play therapy practice.
I work with families facing a wide range of challenges, such as divorce and bereavement, young carers, school refusal, bullying, social difficulties, trauma, and abuse. I work in a neurodivergence-supportive way, recognising and valuing each person’s unique strengths while adapting my approach to meet their individual needs.
Before becoming a Play Therapist, I spent over 20 years working with children and adults with disabilities and mental health needs.
My own son experienced play therapy, and seeing the incredible difference it made inspired me to change my career and help families in the same way.
